一件金屬器皿。
this piece was created as part of a metalsmithing course. it began simply with a sketch, an intuitive vessel shape that i wanted to form through hammering and metalworking processes. the work does not carry a specific concept; instead, it focuses on form, surface, and the quiet presence of an object. the mottled, time-worn appearance on the surface comes from sawdust patination, a process that creates subtle layers of color and texture.
after completing the piece, i named it bald no. 1. the name felt intuitive and a little playful, matching its rounded shape and clean, undecorated appearance.
這件作品是在金工課程中完成的。一開始只是從一張草圖開始，是我直覺畫出來的一個器皿形狀，之後再透過敲打和金屬加工慢慢把它做出來。 這件作品沒有特定的概念，而是比較專注在形體、表面，以及一個物件安靜存在的狀態。表面那種斑駁、像經過時間留下來的質感，是透過木屑化學染色的方式產生的，讓金屬表面出現細微的色彩和紋理變化。 完成之後，我把它命名為 bald no. 1。這個名字是很直覺地想到的，也帶一點玩心，和他圓潤的形狀以及乾淨、沒有裝飾的外觀很搭。
